The School of Police Staff and Command (SPSC) prepares law enforcement managers for senior positions by combining academic principles with practical applications. Since the program launched in 1983, it has received enthusiastic response from public safety executives throughout the country.

In 2012, the SPSC curriculum was redesigned and updated to better incorporate adult and problem based learning models. In order to provide more flexibility for departments, the program is offered on-ground through the U.S. and around the world and is now available online.
