This two hour training course will discuss the following topics:

  2. Opioid Overdose and Reversal: Myths & Facts
  3. Opioid Basics
  4. Identifying an opiod overdose.
  5. Nalonone Intervention
  6. Relevant Procedures & Legal Issues

This program is administered under the La Salle County Naloxone Program that is operated by the La Salle County Medical Reserve Corps.

MTU 5’s request for certification of this course has been approved by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board

Course enrollment must be made by the agency CEO or designated training officer.  Registration may be made using our on-line course registration link on this website.  All officers enrolled by their department will be assumed to be on duty unless otherwise noted
